“To all the girls that think you’re fat because you’re not a size zero, you’re the beautiful one, its society who’s ugly.” ~~ Marilyn Monroe

Flash Back Friday pt 3

Welcome to another flashback Friday!! Today I have a couple Clinique goodies for you!  These are samples that I have gotten somewhere along the way, but you can purchase these as full size product at any Clinique store or online at Clinique.ca. Although these are samples, I used the heck out of them.
Picture
The first is a eye shadow duo along with a blusher.
The "Like Mink" eyeshadow duo is great for an everyday eye look. It's a  light beige lid colour with a dark brown crease shade. The product is crease and fade resistant. Ophthalmologist tested for even the most sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. They retail at $28.00 online. The blush is "Mocha Pink" soft pressed Powder Blusher and it is just the right shade for some colour, but yet not too much. It's a warm, natural-looking powder blush for all skins. Sheer, buildable colour gives cheeks a radiant glow. Silky, fresh finish, too. It Retails at $29.00!

Next up is the Stay The Day Eye Shadow. These are discontinued, however don't fret! I found two dups for these.
The first one is the "Gilded Nude" shade. The single pressed powder shadows are now called All About Shadow... and the colour choice closest is "Sunset Glow". As you can clearly see in the pictures, I also have used the heck out of these, so I am hoping to purchase the new shadows to see how they compare. These are said to be long wearing powder as well as Crease and fade resistant, too. Ophthalmologist tested for even the most sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

The other shade I have is "MoonGlow", and the dup I found is called "Bubble Bath". This faint pink is a great lid shade or an all over lid shade is you are going for a "no makeup" makeup look, to give you a slight hint of colour. The retail at $21.00 on Clinique.ca.

I hope you will try out Clinique's All About Shadow's when looking for a new product to purchase. I know I will be purchasing one when I hit pan on these babies!

5 BEAUTY PRODUCTS TO HELP YOU SURVIVE WINTER

4/4/2018

Well hopefully winter is seeing it's way out (fingers crossed), and I have complied a collection of beauty products that were a must for winter time survival.
Picture
Firstly, taking extra special care of your face is a MUST. It will dry out and become aggravated, and you will be spending lots of time and money on repairing the damage. I used a great couple of products in my daily routine..
Picture
A great multi peptide serum is a good investment to start. Peptides are fundamental components of cells that carry out important biological functions. I used this underneath a Hydrating moisturizer.

I used a couple of hydrating moisturizers. I choose the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox Bouncy Hydrating Gel and the Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel. I chose to show a high end and a more affordable brand, but either chose, a moisture surge skin care gel or cream is a good idea for those dry months. The Peter Thomas Roth can be purchased at Sephora where as the Garnier Moisture Rescue can be purchased from Wal-Mart.
Don't forget your lips! They are a taking a beating too..... Here is a exfoliant and repair cream that I found that works wonderful. The Arbonne dual came out in the Holiday 2016 Collection and let me tell you, it is soo fine!
Picture
I used it every other day, and used a different dual in between. To purchase the set, you will have to find an Arbonne representative near you, and see if this product or something similar is available! For those in between days, I used the EOS lip balm and then added a layer of Vaseline over top of it to lock in all the moisture benefits.

I found that with using these two products in conjunction with each other at bed time, it really helped my lips from chapping. Usually during the winter months, my lips take a beating, but since using this two step system, it really helped.

Another part of your body that gets overlooked in the winter months, but shouldn't is your hair.  A good professional hair mask is essential to combat the dryness of the cold weather.  One in particular that I have been using is the BaByliss Argan Oil Restorative mask. I purchased this from my local Cosmo prof, but you can find it at any Sally's Beauty.  A once a week treatment can make all the difference in the world.
Picture
And my last, but certainly not least body part that gets totally overlooked, is your feet.  Do you find your heals and bottoms of your feet starting to crack?  Just like every other epidermal tissue on your body, your feet get dry as well. Your feet are squished into those poorly air circulating boots with heavy socks being worn all the time, trying to combat the cold dry outside and heated inside air, and you don't think they take a shit kicking? Properly cleaning and moisturizing and exfoliating your feet will help keep them looking flip flop ready!! I found this product to work great, but any foot cream will do the same thing.
Picture
This product was sent to me, and as stated, is designed for cracked skin. Depending on the severalty of your feet's dryness, you may want to get a more dense cream. Firstly, scrub the dead skin off of your feet, then apply the cream and wear a pair of socks over for the night really helps whip those feet into great looking and feeling feet.

Hopefully these five products, with alternates shown, will help you cure the winter drys!!  What products are you using to help you survive the winter months??

Until next time
