“To all the girls that think you’re fat because you’re not a size zero, you’re the beautiful one, its society who’s ugly.” ~~ Marilyn Monroe

Lise Watier Gift

Ok...recently my good friend told me about this warehouse sale that she loves to go to. The Lise Watier Outlet sale.  Because it is another province away, I hate to say it, but it really is too far away for me to just "drive to a sale." I really don't think my husband would quite understand that logic.....even if I tried.. So after apologizing to my comrade, I forgot all about it.

A couple of months later, I met up with my friend Sultan at an event we both go to every year!
"Come up to my room" she said... " I have something for you"... Curious I followed and there, she presented me with a package she had picked up at the sale!  I was so excited to open it up, but I held it in until I got home, just in case I lost something.  Here is what my pack;

So as you can see in my kit, there is 2 liquid eyeshadows, one creme and one green, 1 creme blush, I eyeliner, 1 lipstick and 1 palette! So yes, the kit was well stocked, and how beautiful is the green fern leaves and flowers on the palette! Love!! The 2 creme eyeshadows are very creamy and VERY pigmented! The creme colour one is # 41424 Atlantique and the Green one is #41425 Austral. Be very careful when using them.... a little goes a long way.
Next up is the eyeshadows in the palette.... well I would say they wouldn't be ones that I chose for myself, but they are very nice. The palette itself is the Palette Eden Tropical, # 31321. Some are very pigmented, some not so much.... as you can plainly see, the lighter the shade, the less pay off there is.  I really like the gold and the brown shadows in this palette.
The creme blush is WONDERFUL!! The shade is # 720602 in Baie. I absolutely love it! It is so buttery and creamy, and not to bright, so you can totally built it up to your desired shade! The blush goes on very nice using a brush, but I'm sure you can use your fingers as well and pat it in and you will get the same effect.
The lipstick is a basic mauve nude. The name is Noble Nude and the # is 41510. It applied very nice, however, it dried to a matte, so it took me by surprise...... It didn't state matte, or maybe it did and I just couldn't read it as it was in french....??????......
I just used a couple other lippies to add extra shine and colour!

And Last, but certainly not least, the eyeliner.  The shade is a little hard to see, but it is a grey/green. It states that it is waterproof and infused with vitamin E.  The shade is # 41409 Expression. Gorgeous!! I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of it! And yes for you wondering, it IS waterproof.  It stayed on quite nicely!  It will definitely be getting a lot of use in the summer!
So a BIG THANK YOU to my friend Sultan for her kind gift to me!! I will get use out of this kit for sure!! And in final thoughts, If you are a big green and bright eyeshadow shade lover, you should definitely get your hands on this Lise Watier Set!

Until we talk again,

Cheryl
