“To all the girls that think you’re fat because you’re not a size zero, you’re the beautiful one, its society who’s ugly.” ~~ Marilyn Monroe

<<FlashBack Friday>>

Happy Friday!!! I'm starting a new series on my blog, Flashback Friday!!! So every Friday I'm going to be posting about some of my favorite or not so favorite makeup oldies in my collection that need some love!! I will be swatching and showing you all that the item has to offer!! I am hoping not only to show my viewers some really cool, not so new product, but also rediscover some of these items myself.  Most of us tend to forget the "good stuff" that we have shoved to the back of our makeup collection, so this way I'm hoping not only me but also you, get a chance to play with some oldies but goodies!!

So for my pick for the very first Flashback Friday I dug down real far, and lo and behold, I found a palette that I was so in love with about 3 years ago!!

Everyone Meet Matt!!!

So the idea of this palette is that they are all matte shades with Male names on them. Cleaver! It retails for $42.00 US on The Balm's website with very high ratings.  For me, however; buy the time you do the US exchange on the product you're getting into about $60 plus dollars. I recently saw that this was on sale on Hautelook, which saved you a bit of money, so I would suggest taking a look at Hautelook for sales. Now onto the product itself.

Using my fingers to swatch, I found that some of the shadows can be a bit chalky and light.  You will really have to build on Matt Malloy(white), and Matt Lombardi(cream). I even found Matt Abdul(taupe) to be a bit light, but with a couple applications, you get a good pay off. I tend to use mostly matte shadows in my crease, so for me, this palette works.  IF you can find it ON SALE..... I think it would be a great investment and addition to your collection. If you already own it, dig it out, and give it some love!! It is definitely one palette that gets overlooked!

Until Next Time............
