Off The Shoulder, or One Shoulder!! You will be seeing a lot of these this year. Whether it be shirts, tops, swimsuits or dresses, the shoulder (s) will be showing!
And finally, the beloved "Elaine Benes" Scrunchie! Yep you read that right, the Scrunchie is back! Everyone from Lululemon to Sephora is marketing the Scrunchie! I haven't purchased one just yet, the jury is still out on this trend!

I have always had interest in fashion! I subscribed to all the fashion magazines as a kid, and I always followed the latest trend!
I watch movies and shows, and secretly pay attention to not what is actually going on in the show, but what the actors are wearing! I check the credits at the end to see who their stylist was and google the shit out of them!
I follow fashion blog after fashion blog, and the greatest fashion IG'ers! Well guess what..... I'm jealous! I want to do that too! I've felt that I couldn't do that, with the current state of my body weight/mass, but recently, I have been following a few fellow " Curvy" bloggers and I have thought to myself, "why can't you?" I know that I shouldn't care about what other people think of me, but I DO! I think deep down, most people feel the same way I do. Whether they will admit it or not. But I have found myself at a time where I think "Why should I be letting what I think other's are thinking of me, to stopping me from doing something that I believe will make me happy?"
So that's what I'm gonna do! I'm going to fashion blog.... my big fat ass and all! Not everyone can be perfect, and only God knows that I'm surely not, but hey, I've let too many social functions, or meetings or even parties go by that I was so ashamed of my weight gain to even go and attend, that I'm gonna say "fudge it" and I'm gonna jump that hurdle and start doing what I want!
This will be that I will be able to shop more! (I secretly just wanted something to give me an excuse to shop more) I want to feature a lot of money conscious items and places that most people can shop at! I'm excited to be starting this venture and adding it to my blog! I'm hoping you will enjoy it too!
Until Next time

It's just around the corner!! I'm talking about Spring!! (fingers crossed) And today we are talking all about spring trends 2019! I like to keep up to date on the latest fashion trends, some I will wear and some I won't, but never the less, I will break it all down for you here!!
1) Bike Shorts
Remember way back when those dreaded bike shorts were all the rage? Well guess what? They are coming around again! Geez, I wish I would have kept some of mine from back in the day... scratch that, they look ridiculous!! And nope these babies will NOT BE coming into my closet... instead I'm going to be sporting some more mature types like this.. which I might add, are also showing a big comeback this year! You can find the dreaded bike shorts here or the more mature looking shorts here
2) Graphic T-Shirts
With the millions of options, you can go from tv shows to band shirts. These can be spotted on every website, in every store window. Tell me, is there anything more stylish then a pair of distressed jeans and a graphic tee? I should think not!
Now I know if you follow Molly Ringwald's rules, these are a faux pas, but I know I will be sporting a few of these this year! You can find them here or here
3) ANIMAL PRING
Now if this photo strikes your fancy, then you're in luck, cause Animal print, especially Leopard print is coming in hard! Personally, not a big fan, but hey, You Do You Girl! And boy there is lots to choose from...
From skirts, to shoes, to shirts, to earrings, look out for the wild prints!
You can find some great pieces here and here and here...
How fabulous is this leopard dress with booties.... Now this I could wear....
OH EM GEE... this is going to be my vice! You all should know by now that Light purple, well purple of any kind, but lilac in particular, is my go to colour!! And yes, I have already started adding this shade in my closet!! So if you see someone in head to toe Lilac, it'll be ME!!
HAHAHA GIVE ME ALL THE PURPLE!!!
They come in all sizes and shapes and let's just say the 90's are back baby!!! You can find a great assortment of barrettes here.
6) Small Purses and Back Packs
This spring hosts a lot of small purses and back packs. You might had started to notice these already, but they are classic and don't be afraid to add a piece or two to your collection, as they are timeless!
Here is an excellent choice for myself! ;)
Have you seen any trends that are upcoming for Spring? What are some items that I may have missed? What, if any, are on your wish list?
Until next time, Stay warm

For the final instalment of the Christian Dior Exhibit at the ROM, we are taking a look at the beauty that is his perfume.......
I would like to take this opportunity to give Holt Renfrew in Toronto a huge THANK YOU for this exquisite, beautiful and completely breathtaking exhibit at The Royal Ontario Museum. This was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen... Thanks for letting us feel the experience!
I hope you saw the beauty as I did.... What was your favourite........
Until next time,
So now that we covered all the dresses, we will now move to all the accessories that were on display for the world to see....... follow me.........
The detailing in these pieces is incredible. The sequins were on full display.
Now we'll adventure into the shoes............
The jewellery pieces were extravagant to say the least...
Like I said the detail of each piece is amazing.... Stay tuned for part 3....
Until next time,
So I finally made it down to Toronto the other weekend. I decided to check out the Christian Dior exhibition at the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum), presented by Holt Renfrew! I booked my tickets and away we went.
The display is explained as this, on the ROM's webpage,
The end of a war. The start of a fashion revolution.
Explore the brilliance behind Christian Dior’s dramatic creations that revived the Paris haute couture industry after the devastation of the Second World War in ROM’s original exhibition, Christian Dior, presented by Holt Renfrew. Senior Curator, Dr. Alexandra Palmer, draws from the ROM’s extensive collection from the first ten years of Christian Dior haute couture, 1947 to 1957, to offer captivating insights into the creative process and mechanics of the fashion industry in Paris during a pivotal time.
Celebrating the House of Christian Dior’s 70th anniversary, Christian Dior features a selection of breathtaking designs from daytime to evening wear for grand occasions, and explores how and why Christian Dior’s iconic lines, luxury textiles, and romantic embroideries laid the foundation for the global success of the fashion house.
I entered with excitement, and to my extreme surprise, I was able to take photos..... I had brought my camera just in case, so I'm excited to share the experience with you, as some of you may not have been able to attend it!
The entrance looks as below.... First coming off the elevator, them in the exhibit from the sign to the gown
Then we entered the beauty that was inside!! Decoding Dior is sometimes difficult but here is how to full understand what kinds/types of dresses we are looking at....
This is one of my favourites of the day! The beauty of this is becoming.... The pink was heavenly..
Now you can totally tell why this had me at hello!! Unreal...... Now this next one.... oh HELL YA...
This next one was another fav ..... can we just take a minute to observe all there is of this dress.....
This white with purple flowers has given me feels, I tell ya..... Please it's so me................
Even looking back through these pictures, I'm in awe of their beauty and the amazing workmanship that must have been put into these dresses. If I had my way, I would have gone back just to take it all in again, unfortunately it was over on April 8. If you to pick just one which one would it be? Which ones are your favourites? Stay tuned for the next blog post on all the accessories at the exhibition!!
Until next time....
One of the fashion statements I have been seeing on just about every magazine around is the Over The Knee Boot. Now I'm not sure if I'm late to the parade or if they are just really starting to become a fashion must have, but I'm really in need of some. Here are 3 boots and 1 sandal that have me creating looks in my head! Whether they are brown or black, these are a must have for me.
Going clock wise, starting upper left here are the deets!!
Charlotte Russe, Brown Lace Up Over The Knee Boot ~ On Sale $19.99
Charlotte Russe, Brown Square Toe Over the Knee Boot ~ On Sale $19.99
Aldo, Elinna Black Over The Knee Boot ~ On Sale $49.98
Pretty Little Things, Lorna Black Over The Knee Lace Up Sandals ~ $22.00 pounds or $40.00 Cdn
As you can see some are lace up, elastic or open top for above your knee, and some are flats where others have a heel! Either way, I'm all in! Do you lust for some Over The Knee Boots? Do you have a pair? What do you recommend?
Until next time
We are coming into Spring. I can feel it..... or maybe it's wishful thinking, regardless here are a few items I am looking to purchase for Spring.
These pants were on my wish list last year, and I didn't end up purchasing them. This year I am on the hunt again for these, or ones similar to these. These are a great staple for Spring.
Another pair of boyfriend distressed jeans are also on my list. I'm not a big jean lover, but if the quality of jean is comfortable then a pair of these will be hanging in my closet as well.
Front facing hoops seem to be the hottest trend for Spring. I have seen them in just about every magazine and print I read. I have placed my order for my pair of these stunners. The lovelies are for sale at Stella & Dot.
These jeans..... I love EVERYTHING about these jeans. From the soft denim material to the asymmetrical distressing on the leg. These beauties from Addition Elle are going in my cart.
i'm looking for a lace skirt, either red or black. This one I found at Asos. You could really dress this skirt up or dress this skirt down, however you feel on the day you wear it.
Going along with the lace theme, a good sleeveless lace top is a must for spring/summer. I found this beauty at H&M plus.
A nice wool jacket is great for the crisp mornings and chilly evenings of Spring. This grey and white relaxed wool blend jacket is on sale right now at FullBeauty.com.
And last but certainly not least, a must have for spring weather is rubber boots. I found these beauties at Marks Well Worn!
What are your must haves for Spring? What's on your list?
Until next time
