Well here we go again.... another run through my garbage to see what I emptied. I love doing these, so I'm hoping you like them too. Let's get into it.
I finished up with this bottle of Chi Conditioner. I really liked the scent of this conditioner. I used this everyday, however, I think it would have been better if I used it every other day. My hair got greasy fast! I found it at Winners, so if you are interested in trying it out, try there first, or you can find it here.
Next up, I finished off this Human & Kind Body Souffle Cream. I really liked this for a hand cream. I used every last drop of it. I found it really soaked into my skin well and didn't leave a greasy film. I received this full size tube in one of my Fab Fit Fun boxes, but if you have a US post box you can order it from here!
I use Micellar Water to remove my makeup and mascara before I wash my face with cleanser, so it's not a surprise that this Avène Micellar Lotion didn't last me very long. I can say it did it's job, and had a great scent. I totally would recommend this product. You can purchase this at any Shoppers Drug Mart or here.
I decided it was time to give up on the Essence Match 2 Cover Concealer. This cream concealer just wasn't for me. I tried a couple times, and had no luck with it. Although it had some good reviews, I wanted to try it for myself. Because I didn't reach for it often, it got a bit dried out. It was time to let it go. I don't like to keep makeup around for very long. Regardless of what you hear, makeup DOES have an expiry date and can go bad and grow bacteria. If you are looking for an affordable option for cream concealer, you should definitely give it a try for yourself. You can purchase it at any Shoppers Drug Mart.
I finished this Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox Hydrating Gel. I LOVED it. I repurchased it. I loved the way it made my skin feel. However, this product is now discontinued, but I did find a dupe here
I tried this Lady Speed Stick Antiperspirant. I don't know really what to say about a deodorant except that It worked and It smelt great! I didn't repurchase though, as I found an aluminum free type and I wanted to give it a go. I purchased this at my local Walmart or you can find it here.
My husband's Dove Men Care Elements Charcoal Shampoo made it into my basket again. He doesn't like to be left out, so I am adding this to my blog post for him. He uses this Dove line all the time, and he loves this Charcoal one. He suffers from acne bad, and this shampoo really helps his hair line and neck to ward off the acne. We obviously repurchased this again. We purchase this from Walmart or you can grab it up here.
I LOVE my lip balm. I have lip balm EVERYWHERE! I can't go an hour without lip balm. I even put lip balm on before I reapply lipstick! So it's not a surprise that I have an empty tube in my pile. I tried this Purdy Natural Lip Balm. I liked it very much. And to make the deal sweeter, it is made in London, Ontario. It worked well and lasted a while. If I can find a retailer that sells this product, I would definitely repurchase it. They have a website, so you may be able to find a retail store that stocks this line on there. Mine was given to me as a gift.
I used up my Eyebrow pencil. This one was one that I purchased from Younique. It had the product on one end and the spoolie on the other end. I like when they have the spoolie on the actual pencil. Makes everything so simple. I liked this pencil, but I won't repurchase it. There are other brands out there, that are very similar to this one, without the high price tag. I did however, like the wax consistency of their pencil. Sometimes, brow pencils can be very dry and chalky! This one wasn't. I find waxy brow pencils tend to stay on longer, and are easier to apply. To purchase yours, you will need to find a representative who sells it.
I finally finished a tube of clear brow gel. I like using brow gel to lock the colour in after I use my brow pencil and hold my brows into place throughout the day. This one I purchased from Avon, however, I was unable to find it to repurchase it, so I ended up purchasing another brand. I love the size and shape of the brush. Again, you will have to find an Avon representative in order to purchase this product.
I finished the Elf Liquid liner in black. This was ok. A great price point for an ok black liner. I mostly used this liner to cover the band of my eyelashes after I glued them on. I didn't want to use my regular eye liner, and either wreck the bristles on the tip of the liner, or get glue on the bristles, so I purchased this tube specifically for that purpose. You can find this at Walmart or here
I finished another bottle of my forever favourtie Seche Vite Clear top coat. If you have been following me for a while, you will know that this brand is my absolute go to! I go through a bottle every couple months. I will repurchase this, and I get mine from here or here
And finally I finished my tube of mascara. I was using the Younique Moonstruck Epic Mascara. I had mine in black. I will say that it does do as it states. Gives your lashes volume and length. I did like this product, however, I am not repurchasing as I have found another Mascara that does the same, if not better job. You can find it here. I'm sure you can also find a drugstore line that will give volume and length, just not sure exactly how well it would compare to the Younique one, or the Ever one I just purchased. With this Younique Mascara, once again you will have to find a representative to purchase it.
Have you tried any of these items? What are your thoughts on any of these brands?
Until next time
