I'm writing today with a quick but simple post. I'm starting this month on my weight loss journey! I'm happy to say (fingers crossed) that I am feeling a bit better, and I am ready to start! I know I have said this a couple times before, and didn't follow thru, but sometimes my illness just popped up and I was unable to finish my journey. I am happy to report that today I started my first cardio workout....boy was that hard. It is a 15 minute hard core cardio floor workout, no machines, that I am going to do every day in March. I know your saying 15 minutes isn't that huge, but for someone who is this much out of shape and has this much weight on them, it is a great place to start. I know how I felt today doing it, and how many times I had to stop and catch my breath, as well as some exercises that I just couldn't do. I'm excited to see some gain in the coming month. I first goal is to be able to finish the whole workout, and not stop.
I'm going to be using this platform to hold myself accountable, not only to myself but to you too! I'm not going to be stressing over the scale. In fact, I haven't even stepped on the scale to see my weight. I'm just going to be using this month as my starter month, and I will be making the small changes needed to make this weight loss journey a lifestyle. It takes approximately 66 days to make one thing become a habit for yay for my first x on my calendar! Only 65 more to go!
