Ya! Ya! I know what you're gonna say.... "More Time Off Again??!!" Well YES Actually!! I did get sick again! Struggling with my depression and anxiety, but I also was having some major pain and other problems. After many doctor's appointments, and Rheumatologist's appointments, it turns out that I also suffer from Fibromyalgia. I have only every heard of one or two people with this and I really honestly didn't know that much about Fibro at all. This required me to get a lot of information and education on this condition. I was off already for this "Covid", so my husband and I along with my Medical team decided for me not go back and take some time to figure everything out and my limitations, so if, in the future I decide to re-enter the work force, I will know just what my body will now be able to handle. Plus there was still so many appointments for me to book, it just seemed like the right thing to do. I had always felt very "ill" and "sore" when my depression reared it's ugly head, but would have never guessed that these feelings were from something else besides depression, and that I would have both Fibro and Depression/Anxiety. I'm very glad that my medical team was able to diagnose me so quickly so that I was able to start my acceptance and my new "normal".
So things haven't been all that exciting over here at all. Along with that aches and pains, I'm tired a lot! Some days I have so much energy and feel wonderful. This might last a day or two, but then the next day or so, I end up tired and achy and sore. Unable to hardly move my hands or my body. I feel defeated and cranky! But I have learned to carry on. I have be told to watch my limitations and take everything at a pace. That includes exercise, house work and outside yard work. If you know me, you know I am very busy at home, so this really was/is something that I have to learn. And I'm not very good at it yet. I feel good, so I push it, and bam....too much. Enough about my ailments, let's get one to something more exciting! I'm gonna showcase a few items of what I'm loving lately! I figure this is a great way to re introduce my blog!
Jo Malone perfumes are my absolute favourites! I have been wearing the fragrance Nectarine and Honey Blossom for the last few months. It is a light and fruity scent that makes it a great choice for spring and summer wearing. What I love about Jo Malone perfumes is that they are not over powering and they last all day! You can find it here:
Stud earrings in multiple holes are all the rage right now! Now while I only have 2 holes on each ear, (I had three on one ear, but it has since grown in) I don't plan to get any more piercings! With that being said, I can still sport some stud earrings in two holes. Two different sizes of stud earrings in one ear are also a fashion statement that I noticing as well. These studs are a great choice, as you have 6 different options! I love this set and wear them when I'm looking to wear a stud earring. These darlings are from Stella & Dot!

With Covid happening, my hair has been such a mess! It's dry and needs a cut and style so bad. This shampoo and conditioner have been a God sent. The Matrix Biolage Hydrating shampoo and conditioner is where it's at! It makes my hair feel great, smell great and doesn't leave a ton of build up! Although you can't purchase these at the local drug store or grocery store, you can find a professional who stocks the Matrix products and purchase from them. It's a great way to shop local and help out our beauty industry in this time where they are unable to open to clients. You can also find my exact products here
I never had lash extensions, but my lashes seem to be shorter than usual. This next product is one that I am starting to use regularly! I have been using The Lashes MD lash conditioner. At first I only used it when I thought about it, but now I have been using it on the daily. After taking my makeup off for the evening, I apply a coat of the serum to my upper and lower lashes. I am doing a before and after shot and post about it, when I have used it consistently for a duration of time that would be sufficient for regrowth if any. I can't seem to find anywhere that has any stock right now, but I have linked an alternative here.
Summertime means "no clingy clothes"..... or in other words, dress season! I love wearing casual dresses in the summer. This one is one of my favourites. You can find a similar one here. You can't do wrong with a great casual dress and sneakers look! Going away at night, throw on a jean jacket!
These are just a few of the things I'm loving right now! They change often. Thank you for sticking with me. I hope everyone has been healthy and happy since we last spoke! And hey, if you want that "extra" look.... wear your crocs with your dresses! LOL ;)
Until next time....
